Ok, so, have you ever seen the movie "A Christmas Story?" If so, you probably remember Ralphie's dream about trading his perfect Red Ryder BB gun for a real gun. Well imagine that your favorite trope was present in that famous story! There are many things to give away this holiday season—(some of them have already been discussed) but what if I told you that it would be possible to shoot an arrow right into Rudolph? It is actually possible! With the right setup and strategy—specifically, with a bow and safety tip—it's possible to release one of those juicy arrows into red. You may even win some money for this feat down at the local archery range. Now granted, this is just a game. I'm not really trying to encourage violence. It's just fun to relieve stress with some physical activity, and it's even more fun to win some dimes for this achievement. I'm using the Red Ryder BB gun for this movie-inspired challenge, because it's simple and easy to use, plus you'll likely be able to find one at the local thrift store for pennies. How do you want to play? Shall we go for the most magnificent hit ever? For strictly monetary gain? For fun? For all of the above? The choice is yours! So bring your . 50 cal, pull back on that rope, aim for the sky, and fire! A Christmas Story Ralphie attempts to shoot at Rudolph, but the arrow ends up missing him. Backfire (the Ralphie version of Back for Seconds) is revealed after the arrow is too late, with the very predictable result of an explosion. How Does It Work? It's really simple. If you're like Ralphie, you wanna see some blood—or at least something that resembles it. Ralphie is a kid, and he doesn't even want to aim for a "fair" target. He wants his rival to get hit hard, and I'm sure the kids would love to see some real injury from this stunt. The key here is safety tip —in other words, make sure the tip is sealed in a pvc pipe or something waterproof. In addition, if you're going to play indoors, consider covering your screen. A cardboard box will work well for this purpose. When you fire, make sure you aim for the sky, and try to take out as much of the movie screen as possible. You can actually shoot anywhere on the screen—even behind people, if you're lucky! Be aware that this is just a game. The goal is not to actually injure yourself or others. Shot 1 - On The Screen! On The Breech Success! You hit the target with one of the most famous scenes in film history! What's next? Time for Shot 2 - On The Screen! On The Breech . For this part, I think it's best if you pull back on your rope— or else your arrow could come back at you. cfa1e77820
